Teaching Every Learner : Grounded in Grace, Growing through Practice
Grounded in Grace

I’m Sharon Gideon — a high school science educator, doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction, and a lifelong learner committed to teaching with purpose, inclusion, and faith.
This space was born out of my belief that every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and challenged — and that every teacher deserves tools that are practical, research-based, and grounded in empathy.
Drawing from over a decade of international classroom experience and ongoing action research, this blog brings together:
-
Strategies for supporting diverse learners (ELLs, IEPs, and gifted students)
-
Culturally responsive teaching practices
-
Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
-
Integrated, literacy-rich STEM lesson ideas
-
Faith-rooted reflections on teaching with vision and purpose.
Whether you’re a new teacher seeking guidance, a veteran looking for fresh ideas, or a school leader passionate about inclusion — welcome. You’re in the right place.
Let’s teach every learner. Together.
